The importance of IP valuation cannot be overstated, as the digital economy continues to flourish, year after year, and the growth of IP assets shows no signs of abating. In 2017, LES Thailand arranged its intensive IP Valuation Workshops for our valued members and arranged the seminar on “IP Valuation and IP Implications of Thailand’s New Trade Competition Act”. We feel that now is a good time to update our members and others on the current IP valuation practice. In particular, this webinar will not only provide insights on the latest trends in IP valuation, but also focus more on trademark valuation matters.
In this webinar, we are honored to have three distinguished speakers, who will share their knowledge and real-life experience on IP valuation, both from a financial perspective and a legal perspective, with the aim to incentivize businesses to realize the actual value of their IP assets and their brands. The discussions will include the following:
- André Gorius, the Chair of IP Valuation Committee of LESI will provide attendees with the skill set necessary to value IP assets and provide us with updates on the current IP Valuation trends from an international perspective, including the possibility to connect with the IP Valuation Society of LESI.
- Udomsri Nathikanchanalab, Managing Director at UK Valuations and Agency Co., Ltd, will share with us her extensive experience on IP Valuation, with a focus on trademark valuation in Thailand; and
- Ploynapa Julagasigorn, Senior Associate at Tilleke & Gibbins International Ltd., will elaborate on IP valuations from the legal perspective, focusing on the trademark valuation matters.
