LES Thailand Annual Conference 2021
Virtual Meeting on Zoom Platform
Supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Challenges and Opportunities during the COVID-19 Era
Date and Time: 9-10 September 2021
Platform : Zoom
Whether the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) can be achieved within the next nine years remains an enormous challenge. The year 2020 was a big shock to all of us and has created the so-called “New Normal” across the globe. Since the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020, innovation has become key to humanity’s survival and the UNSDGs are all innovation-driven solutions to the issues of today and tomorrow. At this Annual Conference, three key SDGs have been selected for discussion. These include Goal 2: Zero Hunger; Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being; and Goal 11: Climate Action. As far as the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine is concerned, securing the vaccine supply chain and the logistics of delivery are top priorities that many countries are hoping will restore their faltering economies and protect their populations against this devastating illness. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is essential to many industries. Healthcare is no exception. You will be hearing about the different aspects of AI and its future in the healthcare industry. Moving from health to hunger (Goal 2), we will explore how food, nutrition, and agriculture collectively play a crucial role in helping humanity recover from this pandemic. Travel and logistics have been temporarily halted, resulting in food disruptions and supply shortages, especially affecting everyday commodities. You will have a great opportunity to learn the future business trends of the food industry, as it seeks to supply good nutrition and improved health to the community, with clean air vital to all humanity. Our Goal 11 will cover Climate Action, where LES Thailand will present experts in the relevant research fields/industries, discussing the policies needed to complete make real changes.
Come and join the Licensing Executives Society – Thailand for its Annual Conference on 9-10 September 2021 to hear our distinguished speakers and panelists discuss how to handle your business during the COVID-19 era, and how to turn this crisis into your next opportunity in support of the SDGs. The two-day Annual Meeting will also provide great opportunities to interact with Thailand’s IP commercialization community.
