To be the nation with Innovation Driven Enterprises (IDE), three different aspects of economy are being targeted under the current Thai government. BCG Model is an integrated model designed to promote three different aspects of Thai economy on Bio-economy, Circular-economy, and Green-economy. The model focuses on strength of the country with an aim to create sustainable growth with no one left behind. This is also to ensure the compliance with the 2030 United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) in particular Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, Goal 13: Climate Change, Goal 14 Life below water, Goal 15: Life on Land, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

In promoting sustainable economic growth, not only would innovation creators be one of the key success elements of the eco-system but also IP professionals. With this in mind, the Licensing Executives Society (Thailand) will hold its Annual Conference on 21-22 March 2019 under the banner of “Bio-Circular-Green Economy: How can IP commercialization best support the BCG economy?”

Technological evolution has dramatically changed the way we are and will be conducting business now and in the future. Join LES Thailand as we explore these issues as they will relate to the Government’s drive to push the economy forward through advances in bio, circular, and green business. How will these technology trend and government policy affect your businesses?
