Alan Adcock, a Partner and Deputy Director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Intellectual Property and Regulatory Affairs groups, has practiced IP law for 18 years in Asia.

Alan represents diverse clients, from pioneers in the life sciences to the biggest IP owners in the world, and helps them achieve the dual goals of profit and protection.

With extensive experience in IP acquisitions, strategic structuring, technology transfer, and IP licensing, Alan handles various IP infringements and regulatory infractions involving labeling, advertising, clinical trials, and product registration throughout Asia. Qualified in New York and New Jersey, Alan is fluent in Mandarin.

Dr. Orakanoke Phanraksa

Intellectual Property Policy Manager, Technology Licensing Office, Technology Management Center, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)

 

Dr. Phanraksa is a policy specialist in the field of intellectual property laws. Currently, she is with the Technology Licensing Office, Technology Management Center at the National Science and Technology Development Agency, Pathumthani, Thailand, as a manager of the Intellectual Property Policy group.

After received a Bachelor of Laws from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, Dr. Phanraksa won a prestigious Royal Thai Government scholarship to pursue her education in the USA. She received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Ph.D. in laws from the University of Washington School of Law in 2000 and 2005 respectively.

In addition to her current position at NSTDA, Dr. Phanraksa is elected as Co-Chair of the Global Young Academy, a non-profit organization with an aim to empower and mobilize young scientists to address issues of particular importance to early career scientists. This would allow her to engage with top young scientists as well as senior academies to promote good science to society.

Dr. Suracha Udomsak holds a dual portfolio at SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd; Technology Business Group Head and Research & Development Director. His primary responsibility is to drive SCG Chemicals’ researches and innovations to the market. He joined SCG Chemicals in 1989 and has extensive experiences in polymer production ranging from polyethylene, polypropylene and polyolefin compounds. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University.
