President of LES Thailand

Michelle Ray-Jones is a Partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group in Bangkok. She is an experienced practitioner in matters involving complex intellectual property litigation and prosecution. Representing companies on a wide range of matters related to intellectual property, Michelle handles the global and regional IP portfolios of clients in numerous industries, including hospitality, fashion, and consumer products. Michelle serves as a strategic advisor to international clients with IP portfolios in Southeast Asia, as well as to ASEAN clients expanding outward toward other parts of the world.

Ploynapa Julagasigorn is an accomplished and versatile senior associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group. Her practice encompasses a wide range of domestic and cross-border intellectual property matters as a strategic advisor, an enforcer of intellectual property rights in Thailand, and a litigator in intellectual property prosecution and infringement disputes. Mrs. Darani Vachanavuttivong

Ms. Eliza Stefaniw

Eliza Stefaniw, JD, RTTP, is an Advisor for Innovation Ecosystem Development at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). AT KMUTT, Eliza develops IP management, from strategy to operations and from IP protection to IP licensing. In addition, she focuses on capacity building within the innovation ecosystem of KMUTT and Thailand, from teaching patent and technology transfer skills to mentoring students and early stage start-up companies. She has over 20 years of experience in evaluating, protecting and using intellectual property, as a patent examiner, patent agent, intellectual property attorney and advisor in the US and Thailand.

Eliza strives to maximize innovation impact by listening to inventors and clients and crafting tailored strategic solutions. Before moving to Thailand, she was an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Morgan, Lewis, and Bockius. Eliza became a registered US patent agent in 2001 and obtained her JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 2003. She holds a masters in physics from the University of Rochester, where she was an Office of Naval Research Graduate Fellow. She received a bachelors in physics and Russian with a concentration in international economic relations from Bryn Mawr College.

Dr. Orakanoke Phanraksa

Dr. Phanraksa received Ph.D. degree in laws from the University of Washington, Seattle, in 2005. She is currently with the Technology Licensing Office, Technology Management Center at the National Science and Technology Development Agency, Pathumthani, Thailand, as a manager of the Intellectual Property Policy group. Recently, she has engaged in a national research project with the National Science, Technology and Innovation Agency to develop a policy framework to promote the role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in research and development in Thailand.
