About LES Thailand

An organization aiming to foster innovations and encourage licensing momentums through educations & networking platform, guidelines and policies

Established in 2013 and incorporated in 2014,the Licensing Executives Societies Thailand (LES), formerly known as Licensing Association (Thailand) or LAT, is a national association founded by five core members:

 

1) The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG)
2) Tilleke & Gibbins International LTD.
3) Biodiversity-Based Economy Development Office(BIDO)
4) The National Science and Technology Development Agencey (NSTDA)
5) Wips Co., Ltd.
And The Asia-Pacific Research and Training Network on Trade (ARTNeT), UNESCAP, in support of general public relations.

 

The LES draws together a wide range of disciplines and organizations with common interests in technology licensing and IP, and aims to involve professionals and experts worldwide in the transfer professionals and experts worldwide in the transfer of technology and intellectual property rights.

Objective

To provide education in licensing basic skills

To provide platform to share latest info on licensing, sponsorship of educational meetings, publication of statistics, reports, and articles

To monitor developments and practices relating to technology transfer

To sensitize governmental and international bodies to licensing issues and other IP issues relating to business

To set and promote consistent, high professional standards for licensing executives on a global basis

To create and maintain various geographically based LES societies with the necessary quantity and balance of subscribed members
